B. Duties

1. Monitor all proposed rules and regulations promulgated to impact the natural gas pipeline industry.
2. Keep member companies informed of changes in laws, rules or regulations which may affect their operations with respect to pipeline or public safety.
3. Respond, when appropriate, to requests for comment at both state and federal pipeline safety levels for the Association, and assist member companies with their responses.
4. Promote the flow of information between member companies with regard to rules and regulations, company policies, practices and procedures.
5. Monitor pipeline safety enforcement efforts at both state and federal levels.
6. Communicate with other organizations and associations as it pertains to natural gas pipeline safety regulations.
7. Execute other assignments and conduct special studies as requested by the Trustees.
8. Periodically review and update the responsibilities and duties of this committee.
