A. Responsibilities
Inform member companies of rules, regulations and accepted practices within the gas industry pertaining to environmental issues.

B. Duties
1. Assist member companies with information so they may be informed of changes in laws, codes, rules or regulations that may affect their operations with respect to environmental issues.
2. Assist or provide member companies with technical information to develop environmental compliance procedures.
3. Maintain contact with various governmental agencies, such as OEPA, to keep appraised of proposed legislation regarding environmental issues as they may affect member companies and make recommendations concerning desirable actions by the Association.
4. Participate in the development of educational programs for the purpose of informing member companies of environmental issues.
5. Execute other assignments and conduct special studies as requested by the Trustees.
6. Periodically review and update the responsibilities and duties of this committee.
