A. Responsibilities
This committee is responsible for keeping current with LDC and regulatory activity relating to customer choice of gas suppliers throughout the state; determining in which phases of the activity the committee can best be involved and helpful; and working with OGA member companies, regulatory agencies, and others to assist in customer choice progress.

B. Duties

Keep abreast of the progress of Customer Choice throughout the state and monitor issues where the input of an Association of marketers may be helpful.
Assist Ohio LDC's where appropriate in dealing with issues relating to gas supply such as reliability, obligation to deliver, OFO issues, and others; primarily through coordinating efforts with the OGA Gas Supply and Control Committee.
Promote a channel of communications between the OGA member companies, regulatory agencies, and the marketers' community regarding appropriate customer choice issues.
Provide written and/or verbal input to OGA member companies and regulatory agencies, where appropriate, expressing the opinions and concerns of the marketers' community.
Assist OGA member companies and regulatory agencies, where appropriate, in carrying out pilot programs related to customer choice and evaluating those pilots for further development.
Communicate with other organizations and associations as it pertains to customer choice issues and the relationship of LDC's, regulatory agencies and the marketers' community.
Execute other assignments and conduct special studies as requested by the Trustees.
Periodically review and update the responsibilities and duties of this committee.
