| A. Responsibilities
To
keep apprised of governmental rules and regulations as they affect taxation
and insurance policies and procedures and keep member companies informed.
B. Duties
1.Assist
member companies in the formation of policies, procedures and programs
pertaining to taxation and insurance.
2.Analyze
proposed rulemaking dockets of regulatory agencies as they relate to taxation
and insurance and keep member companies informed of such proposed rulemaking.
Also work with the Regulatory Matters Committee regarding desired changes to
such dockets.
3.
Respond, when appropriate, to requests for comment at both State and federal
levels for the Association and assist member companies with their responses.
4.
Execute other assignments and conduct special studies as requested by the
Trustees.
5.
Periodically review and update the responsibilities and duties of this
committee
