AKRON — Summit County Council members got their first look at legislation Oct. 29 — introduced by Council members Paula Prentice (D-District 8) and Michael Soyars (D-District 7) and Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro — that would create a Pipeline Emergency Response Fund. The fund would provide additional money for planning, training and equipment necessary to respond to a natural gas pipeline-related emergency.
