Mutual Assistance

Safety is a top priority for the Ohio Gas Association and its member companies. The OGA established a voluntary, no-fee program for mutual assistance designed to help companies who experience extenuating circumstances or natural disasters that require services outside the general scope of existing programs.

Participation is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Review the OGA Mutual Assistance Agreement; sign; and submit to Josephine Feik, Ohio Gas Association, 137 E. State Street, Columbus, OH 43215 or via email to josephine@ohiogasassoc.org. Note, this is intentionally a non-binding agreement, which lays out the ground rules for Requesting and Responding Companies. Its intent is to establish participating companies’ expectations in advance of the need for assistance.
  2. Go to the OGA Mutual Assistance Database, and search company-specific emergency contact information available for mutual assistance.
  3. In time of need, refer to the Mutual Assistance Database for Responding Companies that potentially meet your needs, and reach out to them with the Request for Assistance (RFA) form (the contract between Requesting and Responding Companies.)
