Dominion Energy Ohio’s monthly natural gas price for residential customers who are on the Standard Choice Offer (SCO) is continuing its downward trend.
The SCO price, which went into effect with March 13 bills, when rounded to the nearest cent, will be $2.04 per thousand cubic feet (mcf).
The March rate is 6 cents/mcf or 2.8 percent cheaper than the February rate of $2.10/mcf. It is also 88 cents or 30.1 percent less than the rate a year ago of $2.92/mcf.
According to Dominion, the average residential customer’s bill for March will be be $70.41, down $8.24, or 10.48 percent, from $78.65 in March 2019.
