$28M gas pipeline project lands state approval

Columbia Gas of Ohio has received a green light for a major infrastructure project the company says should up Union County to much more development.

The Ohio Power Siting Board has approved the utility’s plans for the $28 million Marysville Connector gas pipeline. The pipeline will extend capacity from the Dublin area roughly along U.S. Route 33 and into southern and central Union County toward Marysville.

Work on the 4.78-mile, 12-inch pipeline will begin in early 2022 with completion expected by the end of that year, Columbia Gas said.
