Dominion Energy Ohio’s monthly natural gas price for residential customers who are on the Standard Choice Offer (SCO) will pay a little more, but still get a good price.
It follows a month that set a new record historical low.
The SCO price, which will go into effect Aug. 12, when rounded to the nearest cent will be $2 per thousand cubic feet (mcf). The August rate is 35 cents higher or 21.2% than the $1.65/mcf price for July. It is 36 cents or 15.2% lower than $2.36/mcf last August.
