CINCINNATI – More than $3 million in financial assistance is available to current Duke Energy Ohio natural gas customers meeting income-eligibility criteria. Qualifying customers can apply to receive a one-time payment of $500 to their current natural gas bill. The funds are available as part of an agreement approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio earlier this year. Of the funding, $450,000 is reserved for qualifying seniors, with the balance available for eligible low-income customers.
